Hello and welcome to my blog. Each week starting in Mid October I'll give you the 16 teams that will have qualified for my college football playoffs ranked from #1 through #16 based on their record and points allowed. They say offense sells tickets but defense wins championships, and that's what I reward. Schedule a cream puff if you must, but you'd better not let them score for it to be effective in my pole. In my playoff system #1 would play #16, #2 vs #15 and so on. All at neutral sites and all starting the second Saturday in December. The title game would be the first Saturday in Jan some place nice like Tampa or San Diego.
While I'll grant you it's not a perfect system, it's better than the one we have which is nothing! This way it's settled on the field. The other teams that don't make it can still play in bowl games, just not in the playoffs. So come back each week and see how it breaks down and good luck to your favorite team!
