It's the last regular season Saturday & there are some games still left not including the conference title games which as you know I'm not a fan of, but money makes the world go round. Here's the 16 teams that are in it as of this week and three on the outside hoping for a little help....
1) LSU 12-0 127pa lw #1
2) Houston 12-0 251pa lw #2
3) Alabama 11-1 106pa lw #3
4) Virginia Tech 11-1 186pa lw #4
5) Stanford 11-1 244pa lw #5
6) Boise St 10-1 219pa lw #8
7) Oklahoma St 10-1 300pa lw #7
8) Wisconsin 10-2 182pa lw #12
9) Michigan St 10-2 185pa lw #10
10) Michigan 10-2 206pa lw #11
11) Georgia 10-2 213pa lw #13
12) South Carolina 10-2 226pa lw #14
13) Southern Miss 10-2 246pa lw #16
14) Arkansas 10-2 273pa lw #6
15) Oregon 10-2 276pa lw NR
16) Arkansas St 9-2 218pa lw #15
Out--Penn State
Just missed--Oklahoma, TCU & Kansas St with all three playing Saturday needing to win & keep their opponents from scoring little & needing teams like Boise St & Arkansas St to lose to have a chance at getting in. It's all about wins and points against with the previous weeks leading up to this. You've either taken care of business or you haven't but you might have one last chance Saturday.
We'll see how the weekend plays out and then next week I'll give you my playoff matchups & a little predicting of how this might all play out if my playoff system was a reality. Heck, right now that #8 vs #9 game is a reality Saturday night with Wisconsin & Michigan St facing off, and that's a nice #7 vs #10 game with Oklahoma St taking on Michigan if it were to start Saturday 12-3.
Stay tuned & we'll lay it all out next week!
